A ping pong tournament is scheduled Monday at the VFW in Anaconda on Monday. Players should show up at 4 p.m. to register for singles and doubles tournaments. There's a three-match guarantee.
The Skyline Sportsmen's Association will conduct a public meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Butte War Bonnet Hotel. Guest speakers will be Kurt Alt, FWP Region No. 3 biologist, and Vanna Boccadori, FWP Butte biologist. Alt will give a presentation showing the effects of ranch hunting restrictions and wolf predation on historical elk winter migrations. Boccadori will give recent mule deer counts and will discuss the progress of the Mount Haggin Wildlife Restoration Project. Questions and suggestions will be encouraged by both speakers.
