Prep Boys' hoops
Browning at Butte Central, 7 p.m.
Though many of major players have changed, Friday night's tilt at the Maroon Activities Center.
Browning is 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the Central A. Butte Central is 2-3 and 2-0. The Indians are 0-2 in the Mining City this season after losing to Hardin and Laurel in December's tipoff tournament.
The Maroons are coming off Saturday's 67-49 home win over Lewistown. Sophomore Jonathan Richards sank seven 3-pointers and scored 22 points in that win. Senior Casey Norbeck scored a season-high 14 points, while Andy Ritter scored 13 and Aschan Richards tossed in 10.
Dillon at Corvallis, 7 p.m.
The Beavers (4-1 and 1-0) look to build on Saturday's win at Butte High when they jump back into Southwestern A play.
Senior Bryce Carver averages 20.4 points per game to lead the Beavers, who run a relentless 1-3-1 zone defense. Dakota Norris, Brandon Boka and Trevor Rehm have also posted double-digit games for the Beavers.
Corvallis is 3-2 and 1-0 after Tuesday's 85-21 win at Darby.
Frenchtown at Anaconda, 6:30 p.m.
Anaconda and Frenchtown both enter tonight's game at the Memorial Gym with 1-1 conference records.
The Copperheads beat Stevensville in Dec. thanks to 12-point efforts from Sam Ferguson and Brock Wigert.
Frenchtown is led by Tyler Wilde, who averages 12 points per game.
Prep Girls' hoops
Butte Central at Browning, 7 p.m.
The Maroons (3-2, 1-1) look for their third straight win they head to Browning to face the team that ended their season a year ago.
Sophomore Quinn Peoples, who averages a team-leading 16.6 points per game, scored 17 Saturday night as the Maroons rolled Lewistown at home. Senior guard Brooke Pokorny scored 13.
Browning is off to a slow start at 1-4 and 0-2.
Corvallis at Dillon, 7 p.m.
The Beavers look to get back in the win column after a tough loss at Butte High Saturday night.
Senior Grace Zitzer averages 10.4 points per game to lead Dillon (3-1, 0-1). Kelsi Nordahl adds 8.4 points per game.
Anaconda at Frenchtown,
7 p.m.
The Anaconda Copperheads take a 2-0 conference record into Frenchtown tonight.
Torry Hill and Lisa Laslovich have led the Copperheads so far this season.
Frenchtown has a floor leader in Shelby Russ.
Prep wrestling
Butte High at Bozeman,
7:30 p.m.
Butte High's wrestling team will gain some familiarity with I-90 this weekend, as the Bulldogs are at Bozeman Friday and then travel to Billings West on Saturday. Making his debut after claiming the 105-pound title as a freshman will be Jake Dallaserra, checking in at 140 pounds. Coming off a shoulder injury, the Butte sophomore will be tested right out of the gates, as he faces Bozeman's top-ranked Michael Carpenter. Jacob Hobbs is slated to move down to the 152-pound slot, while Tom Cooney is set to see his first varsity action. Butte High's probable lineup for the weekend follows:

The Butte Community Ice Center is the site for the game as the Butte Roughriders try for their fourth win of the season. They lost 6-2 at home Wednesday night, playing Bozeman, for their 26th defeat. The Helena Bighorns are contending for a division and league title.
