Kalispell man dies in dump truck accident

KALISPELL (AP) — A 35-year-old Kalispell man was crushed to death when the hydraulics on a dump truck failed as he tried to repair the truck.

Kalispell police say the victim and another man were clearing snow in a construction parking lot Monday afternoon when the equipment malfunctioned. The men were trying to repair the dump truck when the hydraulics failed. One man was able to get out of the way but the victim was crushed.

Authorities have not released his name.
