Women's health screening is today The North American Indian Alliance and Montana Breast and Cervical Health Program are sponsoring a women's health screening day on Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If it has been more than a year since your last exam, have low income and no insurance, are age 30-65, you may have a free pap test, and breast exam. For women age 40-65, the screening also includes a mammogram.

Call the NAIA at 782-0461 for your appointment to have an exam and mammogram, or call Renee Ashby at 497-5085 at the Butte MBCHP office.

The public is welcome to come visit the North American Indian Alliance at 55 E. Galena, Butte, where there will be many Health Information booths, I-Pharm testing cholesterol, bone density and blood sugar for $15 each, (call for appointments).

Register for figure skating club The Butte Figure Skating Club will hold a registration for the 2008-09 skating year from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Perkins.

Anyone interesting in joining the club is encouraged to attend.

Skating begins from 4:45 to 6:15 p.m. Sunday at the Butte Community Ice Center, 1700 Wall. If you cannot make the registration on Thursday, you can register on Sunday.
