Registered sex offender moves to Anaconda

A man registered as a sexually violent offender has moved to Anaconda, police officials said Monday.

Daniel Joseph DeTonancour, 34, has moved to 412 Jefferson St., Anaconda Police Detective Steve Barclay said.

DeTonancour was convicted Sept. 7, 1999 in Madison County of sexual assault on an adult female.

He is registered as a level 3 offender, which is the ranking given to those most likely to re-offend.
