Butte police reports

n A woman faces several charges after being involved in an alleged drunken driving accident with her 3-year-old son in the car Monday afternoon.

Devon O. Parke, 23,

1337 Sunrise Lane, was arrested in connection with driving under the influence and criminal endangerment. Police say she lost control of her 1997 Buick Skylark while attempting to turn onto Wynne Avenue off of Four Mile Road about

3:40 p.m. The car plowed through a fence at Thompson Distributing and crashed into a front-end loader.

Parke and the child weren’t injured, according to the police report.

Police said Parke appeared intoxicated and that she failed the field sobriety test.

Her son was turned over to the care of a relative and Parke was taken to jail. She faces additional charges of reckless driving and driving without proof of insurance, according to the police report.

Butte justice court

  • John Babcock, 45, was charged Tuesday with criminal distribution of dangerous drugs. He’s accused of selling morphine tablets out of his residence at

    671 S. Main on April 25 and April 26, 2007. Justice of the Peace Debra Williams set Babcock’s bond at $50,000. He remained in jail Tuesday evening.

  • Brad Lawrence, 31, of 1036 Nevada, and Joseph Butler, 36, of 1410 Fifth, Walkerville, both pleaded guilty Dec. 20 to driving without liability insurance (second offense) and each man was fined $410.

  • Jeremy Ermey, 38, of 901 W. Quartz, pleaded guilty Dec. 31 to two counts of disorderly conduct and received a 15-day jail sentence. According to court documents, Ermey was quarreling with others and using abusive language.

  • Neil Button, 38, of

    2017 California, pleaded guilty Nov. 28 to disorderly conduct and was fined $185. According to court documents, Button was using profane language. On

    Dec. 12, in a plea agreement, Button pleaded guilty to attempted theft of gas and must make $49 in

    restitution.

  • Herbert Shannon, 46, of 132 W. Broadway, pleaded guilty Dec. 11 to disorderly conduct and was fined $185. According to court documents, Shannon was using threatening and abusive language in the vicinity of Broadway and Montana. He also received a five-day jail sentence.

  • Marty Otherbull, 39, of 936 Nevada, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to disorderly conduct and was fined $185. According to court documents, Otherbull was using profane language at the intersection of Main and Broadway. He also received a 10-day suspended jail

    sentence.

  • Christina Gardipee, 42, of 1227 Farrell, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to disorderly conduct and was fined $185. According to court documents, Gardipee was using profane language on Farrell Street. She also received a 10-day suspended jail

    sentence.

  • Carmela Gardipee, 46, of 1227 Farrell, pleaded guilty Dec, 13 to disorderly conduct and was fined $185. According to court documents, Gardipee was using abusive language at the intersection of Main and Broadway. She also received a 10-day suspended jail

    sentence.

  • Joshua Horn, 29, of

    315 Upton, pleaded guilty Dec. 13 to disorderly conduct and was fined $185. According to court documents, Horn was challenging others to fight and using abusive language.

  • David Stevenson, 37, of 112 S. Alabama, pleaded guilty Dec. 14 to disorderly conduct and was fined $185. According to court documents, while Stevenson was fighting with a female individual, a one-year-old child fell down the steps.

  • Marie Debarian, 45, no address listed, forfeited $185 Dec. 18 for disorderly conduct. According to court documents, Debarian was challenging others to fight and used abusive language.

  • Ricky Berkopec, 30, no address listed, forfeited $185 Dec. 21 for disorderly conduct. According to court documents, Berkopec was playing music so loud as to create an offensive

    condition.

  • Brian Marshall, 31, of 1505 Elm, pleaded guilty Dec. 11 and was fined $185. According to court documents, Marshall disturbed the peace by creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition that served no legitimate purpose.
