Tech women move to 2-0

HELENA — The new-look Montana Tech women’s basketball team is 2-0 after Friday’s 85-76 win over Warner Pacific College at the Carroll College tournament.
Jenessa Todd, Angela Gimeno and Andrea Thomas all scored 18 points to lead the Orediggers.
Rebecca Gimeno added 14 points, and nine different Tech players dented the score book.
Nicole Brown tossed in 31 points to pace Warner Pacific, a college in Portland, Ore.
Saturday, the Orediggers play Cascade College, also of Portland, at 2 p.m.

Caitlin Courchaine and Michela Schmitz each tossed in 10 points.
Ashley Dison and Kristen Woller each scored 11 to lead Cascade.
